Workshops Offered

The Office of the Dean of Students offer several workshops for student groups and campus departments that are designed to assist the campus community in it's mission to provide a high-quality education that is responsive to the needs of a fast-changing world.

Current Workshops

  • Classroom Management (60 minutes):

This workshop addresses faculty rights and responsibilities in managing the classroom environment. Topics covered include addressing disruptive behavior, managing classroom discussions, academic dishonesty, and students in class under the influence.

  • Working with Students of Concern (60-90 minutes): 

Learn about the strategies and guidelines for working with students of concern and the resources available to assist you and the student. Issues covered include problematic/disruptive behavior, depression and anxiety, substance abuse, and suicide ideation.
